7:29 pm - an update!

am i really updating??? YES! why you ask? becausei am procrastinating. It's going to be one of those nights where i know once i start my work, i cant stop or i'll never gt it done. This is going to be one fucker of a week. But i can make it cause i have vaca next week! yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! oh wait, never mind, i am getting my wisdom teeth taken out and as soon as i am able to, i am going to work the other half of the week. dammit.
on a lighter note, i went to canadia this weekend. shit show r us. but a lot of fun. I am a canadian whore. I have been so many times. we went to katrina's (the hip hop place we went to during the summer) and this place called the mad hatter, which was an irish bar and SO much fun. anyways now i am broke. well worth it though.
did everyone know i am playing rugby now??? betcha didnt see that one coming! :-) its so much fun and you guys have to come to a game.... you can see me hit someone, or get hit, whichever you prefer.
wow this was a mildly depressing entry.
just gotta make it through the week....

2:39 pm - oh what a night
|
ok so let me just tell you that last night was frickin RIDICULOUS. so, we went out and had some fun sake bombing with the asian cooks at the place we went to. then we came back and at this point we were all pretty intoxicated. then me and courtney decide that some extracurricular activity was in order, so we went with dave to acheive our goal. so needless to say i was pretty out of it by then. we hung out with the guys for a while and decided to go back and sleep cause it had been a pretty great night and nothing could top that right?
wrong
i was dead asleep and i hear patch come into my room, and he tell all of us that we have to get up right now. and i hear the fire alarm going off. i was still wicked out of it, so i was digging through all of the shit on my floor for a bra and some shoes when alex comes barreling into the room and starts screaminig at us to hurry the fuck up. at this point i have one shoe on (shoes? fuck shoes!)and no bra, but she was so panicked that i bolted out of the room, grabbing a random jacket on my way out, breaking a coat hanger in the process. so here's me in my roommates nice brown jacket, pink pj pants and one shoe. i run out of the room and take the corner but slip and fall flat on my face because there it a light dusting of fire extiguisher powder all over the hallway. i pick myself up and get blasted in the face with a cloud of smoke and start coughing. i find the other girls on my floor and start running down the stairs, but one of them turns around and ask "where's simi?" so i decide in my state of mind that i need to go back and get simi and kristen. as i got back t my floor alex stopped me and told me to get out and she went and got them. so then we all congregated outside and i still have one shoe on. so we go to our friend's room in the dorm next to us and rest until we could get back inside. once back, we see that there is fire extiguisher stuff EVERYWHERE and all in all it was pretty scary, but looking back it was hilarious.

I was very disappointed with the red sox performance today. that blows.
everything here is going good. classes and weekends, same old same old. i had a really good birthday. thank you to everyone who called/sent messages/took care of me in my highly drunken state etc etc.

god damnit i do this to myself every single time and then i get let down every single time. but do i learn my lesson? NO! cause i am a dumbass.

other then that i am doing great. turning 20 in 5 days! i cant believe i am going to be in my twentied. i've been a teen for so long now that i feel like i am making a huge transition in life. it's weird. anyways i am really excited about it and wish you all could be here for it, but alas, it wasnt meant to be. but i will be thinking of you all and dont be surprised if you get a phone call from me saturday night saying how much i love you and that we should hang out more often. haha i am so excited ;-)

i have terrible news......
the OC and Alias are on at the same time this fall. for those of you who dont get it, this means that my 2 favorite shows this fall, the only 2 that really matter now that friends is gone, are on at the same time. soooo i have to tape one and then watch it after. that SUCKS!

5:58 pm - warped tour was really warped
|
so i spent 6 hours on a 2.5 hour car ride to get to a concert where i really didnt know the bands. i went becuase i wanted to spend some time with my friends, who forgot their tickets (not that bad) but when they got inside the venue, i saw no sign of them. okay, at this point i am getting pretty bummed because it is muddy, i dont know any of the music and i have no friends. the only 2 bright sides were meeting up with kristen from school and amy being there with me. ANYWAYS, i stuck around and finally did meet up with the friends i was supposed to hang out with, and we saw a really good show. and then i went to leave, and felt guilty about it, even though i shouldnt have. then we go to get out of the fuckin parking lot and it didnt work, so i sat there and read. i tried to go in several different lines, but they didnt move. finally i look at amy's cell phone and saw that we missed grant's call. i call steph to see whats up, well they got out of there hours ago on the other side of the lot. fucking great. so i go to the other side and i find a police officer who was no help AT ALL and get into what looked like the fastest moving line. i got out in half an hour. so all in all it took about 3 hours to get out of the FUCKING PARKING LOT. then we went to burger king to get dinner, and they took 20 minutes to egt our food. so all in all i learned:
-take a different route to warped tour
-always remember your tickets
-kristen is awesome
-i can survive a 6 hour trip as long as amy is there
-park someplace other than the parking lot
-never go to warped again unless you really want to see a band (which will probably be never)
-and finally: Bill is the fucking man. i didnt get a chance to tell him because i didnt see him all day, but he rocks for coming all the way down to warped to deliver the tickets. he rocks.
the end of a really sucky entry and a really sucky experience.

so havent updated in a real long time. summer is going good. havent seen as much of some people than i would like, but that will change i hope. i feel like i am in a transition mode right now. i want to change a lot of things, i just need the motivation and the courage to just do it. i need a bit of time to gather myself and prepare for the road ahead. does this make any sense to anyone, bc i have no idea what i am saying. anyways...
NY this weekend to see bc buds. i am tres excited.
